Combat Conditioning - Royal Court

The Royal Court in Combat Conditioning is comprised of the three most important exercises for developing the entire body: Hindu Squats, Hindu Pushups and Bridging.
This workout was first presented by Matt Furey as the Royal Court in his Combat Conditioning series.  Following this legendary routine will quickly catapult your overall strength, endurance and flexibility.
Matt presents the Royal Court to be done as straight exercises:
  • one set of Hindu Squats as many as you can without stopping
  • one set of Hindu Pushups as many as you can without stopping
  • Bridging for a set time of up to 3 minutes
There you have it, a good full body routine that will catapult your overall strength, endurance and flexibility.

I however like to do this Royal Court workout in three sets.

First Set: kind of a waking up set...
  • Hindu Squats about 10-15 at a light pace.
  • Hindu Pushups about 5 at an easy pace.
  • Bridging in repetitions about 2-3.
Short break enough time to catch your breath, but no longer than 1-3 minutes.

Second Set: Warmup...
  • Hindu Squats about 20-30 again at a light pace.
  • Hindu Pushups about 10 again at an easy pace.
  • Bridging in repetitions about 10-15 at a slow steady rate.
Short break enough time to catch your breath, but no longer than 1-3 minutes.

Third Set: Workout...
  • Hindu Squats to maximum at a good pace (not slow)
  • Hindu Pushups to maximum at a good pace (again not slow)
  • Bridging hold for up to 3 minutes.
This is a good fully body workout routine that can be followed daily.  Following this workout routine daily will quickly catapult your overall fitness, strength, endurance and flexibility.
